Bang Crunch is a book of stories featuring, among other things, a glow-in-the dark guinea pig, an astronaut's right foot, and a naked lady dancing to Tchaikovsky.

Bang Crunch won the McAuslan First Book Prize, got nominated for the Commonwealth Writers' Prize for Best First Book and the Hugh MacLennan Prize, and was chosen as a book of the year by The Globe and Mail and Le Devoir.
